ATOM CNC Knife Cutting
Versatile CNC Cutting for Modern Manufacturing
Versatile CNC knife cutting for flexible and semi-rigid materials, with configurable heads, table sizes, automation options and Flex Pro performance for demanding industrial production.
Texon Oz supplies the advanced ATOM Flashcut Flex range of CNC knife cutting machines across Australia and New Zealand. The range is designed for versatile, productive and precise processing of flexible and semi-rigid materials.

Built with ATOM engineering, robust construction, advanced CNC control and configurable cutting technology, Flashcut Flex systems provide fast, accurate and repeatable performance. Multiple table sizes, head configurations and automation options support both prototyping and high-volume production.
The Flashcut Flex range processes leather, foam, rubber, technical textiles, composites, plastics and synthetic materials. Standard machines can process flexible and semi-rigid materials up to approximately 25 mm thick, while HD configurations can cut suitable materials up to 130 mm thick.
Its modular tooling supports several production operations:

Standard configuration
The standard head is available with 20 mm or 40 mm cutting clearance for flexible and semi-rigid materials.

Heavy-duty configuration
The HD version is expressly designed for materials such as foam and corrugated or honeycomb cardboard. It supports cutting, creasing and 45-degree angle cutting at thicknesses up to 130 mm, depending on material and tooling.
The brochure describes EMHD models for combined cutting and milling on materials up to 100 mm thick. A powerful knife chuck, 3 kW variable-speed router, rapid tool change and liquid cooling support intensive processing of rubber, plastics and composites.
An adjustable, sectorised vacuum system concentrates suction where required, holding materials securely while reducing unnecessary energy use.
Solid mechanical engineering, quality components and advanced electronics support consistent speed, accuracy and repeatability.
Selected models can use a second cutting gantry so two cutting heads operate simultaneously to reduce cycle times.
Automatic nesting systems reduce layout preparation time and improve material yield.
Static tables suit sheet material, while belt-feed versions support continuous processing of sheet or roll material.
High-brightness projectors, acquisition systems, spreaders, loading tables and off-loading tables can be integrated around the cutting workflow.
Available formats cover compact workspaces, general-purpose production, large materials and continuous workflows.
